About the Role
As a Service Engineer for milking systems at the client, you'll be one of the experts in both conventional and automatic milking systems. You'll be part of our 24/7 helpdesk, following a predetermined schedule. Acting as a resource for the client's technicians, end-users, and dealers, you'll offer support at complex situations on-site. To stay in touch with practical aspects, regular maintenance of the milking systems is part of your routine. Additionally, as a service engineer, you'll be one of the colleagues providing technical training for both the client's technicians and their dealers. Project management, evaluating, and testing prototype systems also fall under your responsibilities. In short, it's a role with diverse tasks where you'll be actively involved both at our Emmeloord office and in the field.
What You'll Do
Provide phone support to installation technicians, service technicians, end-users, and dealers from the head office in Emmeloord. This is a 24/7 service, scheduled beforehand.
Offer on-site support in complex situations.
Additionally, conduct regular maintenance to stay closely connected to practical aspects.
Deliver technical training to installation technicians and service technicians, ensuring optimal service for the client's end-users.
Engage in project management from both technical and managerial perspectives during the startup and post-support phases of conventional and automatic milking systems, nationally and internationally.
Occasionally evaluate and test prototype systems developed by our R&D department.
What We Value
Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a technical aptitude.
Customer-focused, analytical, creative, flexible, and capable of handling work pressure.
Passionate about the agricultural sector.
Proficiency in Dutch, English, and preferably German languages, both written and spoken.
Enjoy working both from the office (Emmeloord) and in the field, serving as a resource for the client's technicians and dealers.
