Gdansk is a one of the biggest cities in Poland, it is in the north part of the country and next to the Baltic Sea. The city is rich in culture and history. During the second world war, the city center was almost destroyed; they rebuild everything the years after. In Gdansk you can find schools of medicine, engineering, and fine arts. They have many fine churches, gardens, museums, a concert hall, an opera hall and much more.
It is as the rest of Poland a quite cheap place to live. Their currency is Polish zloty, and the tax level is fairly low compared to other European countries. As you might think, Gdansk is one of the more popular places for expats. Not only for the rich culture that was mentioned earlier and the cost of living that is very low. They also have top-notch restaurants, good economy and it is a great place for companies, both start-ups, but also bigger and more familiar companies.
Working in Gdansk are for many a good option when wanting to move abroad for work.
