HR Manager - Your responsibilities
We are seeking an HR Manager to lead the HR function at our newly established entity. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing all HR activities for the new site including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities (% of Time)
Set up and lead all HR activities for the new site in Latvia including developing HR policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees at the new site fostering a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with Latvian employment laws and regulations, including labor contracts, working hours and employee benefits.
Collaborate with global HR teams to share best practices, align HR strategies, and implement global initiatives at the Latvia site.
Provide leadership and support to the HR team onsite, fostering their professional development and growth.
Stay informed about local employment laws and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and compliance
Qualifications & Requirements General
Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources or related field. Master´s degree preferred.
Min 5 years experience in HR Management roles in an international organisation.
Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations with experience in ensuring compliance.
Proven experience in employee relations, performance management and talent development.
Strong communication, interpersonal with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
Fluency in English and Latvian languages for effective communication with local and global teams
